act throw out bearing?

Hey i got a swapped a few weeks ago with a ACT street strip clutch kit... after 600 miles i get this horribe noise from the clutch when depressing the pedal... So im thinking its the TOB but it's too weird for it to be broken coz its brand new...

Are the noises normal for an ACT strip.street clutch?i bought a new ACT tob but i heard they suck so should i use a OEM TOB instead?

Did you change the pilot as well?

Smells like a bad throw out bearing. Use the OEM one.

the pilot bushing is new since it came from the kit...well i spoke to jeff from 240sxmotring and he said the act tob that i bought a couple of days ago are identical with the sr20 oem one.... so i'll try the act again

a quick thing i learned when i got into the automotive industry is that new parts dont mean good parts.

i just got a bad news from my ol mechanic... i have to see the whole clutch tommorow!!! im so unfortunate with transmissions errrrrr
