So tonight i raced a SS camaro. We raced from a dig than three runs from roll. After the races my clutch felt a lil harder to compress than usual. I checked all the fluids, A ok everything perfect. It feels like it did when i first put it in. I drive my car short shifting all the time just cruising it as a DD. My friend said it might be that it got warmed up and it is working the way it is supposed to.Any idea what it may be? It goes into all gears perfect.

How new is the clutch?

ACT xtreme is probably the heaviest clutch feeling I've ever felt.

Only two things that will normally make a pedal feel difference

Hydraulics!

OR Something lodged or has broken in the clutch itself.

Seeing as you said it still shifts and everything works i would probably lean more towards hydraulics.

Did you install a new master and slave at the same time when installing the clutch?

It feels good now. i think that night it just got harder because i was really ripping it and dumping on it.

Thats weird...

When you beat the crap out of a clutch or your brakes, the fluid can boil and you will get a mushy feeling from the line expanding. I've never had a pedal get stiffer from beating on it.
