So I've decided to buy an ACT clutch. My car is a weekend toy that will be driven hard but not officially raced. There will be some horseplay though and some ordinary commuting.

I'm planing ~290HP for now but maybe up to 400 if I decide to build my spare motor.

ACT offers three disk types:

1) Performance Street (full disk type)2) 4 puck race3) Six puck race

and, two pressure plates:

1) Heavy duty2) Extreme

Here is where I found this info.http://www.advancedclutch.com/...=true

I don't mind a firm clutch or somewhat harsh engagement as long as it's not insufferable in traffic. I do hate clutch chatter.

My question - which combination would you guys go with and why? What are your experiences with these?

I use the HDSS. Heavy duty pressure plate w/organic street disk.

also using HDSS but i will say that if i had to do it over again, 6 puck with the extreme is where i would be. the price difference is negligible so y not?

I have an ACT street clutch and couldn't be happier...definitely more sporty than stock but very drivable, especially if you need to be in traffic for any point of time.

It's not rated for as much torque as the others (I think 290 lb-foot?) but I'm at 343 rwhp right now and it's holding up fine...and I've heard of others going 400+ whp no problem.

He fitted those parts to a DE motor, will they also fit the E? Where would I get an RB flywheel?
