I know about the whole removing the alignment pin to make it fit, but I even romaved all of them. Seems like the holes in the pressure plate, where the bolts go into, are a little off so only 3 bolts fit. Anybody else has issue with the ACT HD kit? I compared it to the stock pressure plate and the holes are a little off. ahhhgg

Yea, I've heard that some people have had to open up the bolt holes on the pressure plate a little bit to get it to work.

yeah, you have to open the holes SLIGHTLY sometimes with a drill. Its so little I can't see it making a difference.

Sorry, I know this is a pretty old one.

I just tried to install the ACT NS4-HDSS Kit and at least one alignment pin doesn't line up with the pressure plate (N-025). The bolts are not the problem but the pins and I tried it in every way. When I read your post, I think this problem is already known. I tried the "search" with no success. Does anybody have a solution?

Thanks

Drill the pressure plate to match the dowel pins. I'm totally against removing one to make it fit.

I'm with Dee as well. Drill the plate for the dowel pin.

Thanks for your reply. I'm a little bit surprised that I have to modify the pressure plate. Isn't is normaly that whan a clutch manifactury sells a clutch for a car (180sx, CA18DET e.g.), the clutch should fit without modifications?I sent Act a mail as well......answer: Never heard of that problem. Essentially the cover used to manufacture this pressure plate is a factory Nissan cover and there are no changes to the alignment pin holes! This sucks

They Bs'd you by giving you one for the KA instead of the CA. Not the big of a deal, but I know what you mean.
