I don't know if I can explain this good enough for you guys to be able to give me a answer, but I will give it a shot....I just put in a new ACT street/strip clutch about a month ago. When I push in the clutch it almost feels like it is hanging up and then it makes this weird metal popping noise and it just started a couple of days ago before that it was nice and smooth and no crazy noises. Any help would be great Thanks

Did you install the throwout bearing correctly? I'd say it's either that, or something to do with the slave/fork mechanism.

Does it do it all the time, only hot, only cold? Does it squeal at all or only pop? More info helps diagnose these things.

I put a brand new throw out bearing in and it does it reguardless of it being cold or hot. It worked great for a long time and it just started the other day. It almost sounds like it is the pressure plate creeking or something maybe.... I don't know the clutch is still engaging fine it just has a little hang up and the weird noise. Maybe I will bleed it and see if that helps

Did you check out where the noise was coming from? A friend of mine told me that there was a noise from his transmission area but was actually a squal from the spring in his clutch pedal lol. Hosed it with WD-40 and everything was cool.

It sounds like it is around the shift fork area but I will spray the spring down just to make sure!!!!.....Thanks......

Yeah I have a ACT heavy duty clutch with a 4 puck and mine does kind of the same thing, it doesnt really pop but it kind of makes the clutch pedal vibrate a little and it makes a kind of squeeling noise like the clutch bearing or somthing, I called the guys I got it from and they claim its not a problem its just because it has so much pressure, does yours do it when your letting off the clutch in reverse most of the time?
