I've already booked the wife and my room and paid the pre-reg. Any other AC friends coming along?

If you aren't sure what I'm talking about when I say Tail of the Dragon, you best look here first... official-registration-information-t522589.html

Any other AC's coming? Bueller? Bueller?

I would hope some coupes that are near the area will show up.
Yeah man, the carputer is still going strong for 2 years now. I thought for sure I would've had to buy another monitor or something.

Going to try and work it out and make it. I need tires and my coilovers to get here in time. I have a lot of stuff going on that may make or break this, including a wedding in upstate NY the following week and a new job I start next week. Tooooooo busy.

Nice Xenon, I was overseas recently doing work for the government as well. Interestingly enough, my wife and I just got married in upstate New York in June. Was a great time!

Hope you can make it to the Dragon!

Looks like the best I will be able to do is to make it up that Saturday, and even that isn't looking good. Lots of money/schedule changes. Boo being a grownup.

alright guys. i'm doin an oil change (gearbox, engine), tire rotation, and pads/rotors. gonna overnight brake stuff. With any luck, I should rock this out very soon (tomorrow) and I'll be able to swing up saturday in time for lunch. I haven't officially registered or anything yet, so I'll hit that up tomorrow afternoon (if I need to since I'm only gonna cruise saturday).

cross yo fingaz. i really would love to do this. it'd be my first official NICO event as a mod. POW.

Ok - gonna just pray WRT my brakes (they should be fine for another weekend). Got EBC Black Zinc slotted rotors/Hawk Performance Ceramic pads on the way. Gonna do all my fluids tmrw though, so I should be set!

So I'm coming up for Saturday to cruise. Leaving pretty early sat morning. Anyone I run into gets to hear a Greddy Spectrum Elite with a Racingline Y-Pipe on a 6MT coupe =D

Which Saturday event, plan A or B? Im doing do A because Ive never been to Clingman's Dome. If you are doing the Cherohala Skyway cruise, I wanna hear your exhaust in the morning @ Fontana then. ;)

Yea I am curious who out the AC crew is doing plan A or plan B on saturday.
I am staying at timeshare this time instead of fontana. I plan to get in friday evening rest up and see NICO ROW
saturday morning.Clingmans dome overlooks alot of the mountains east.
But the cherohola skyway is also an awesome drive. Allthough we didnt do the whole loop last year.
I would suggest bringing a light jacket or hoodie it can get cold up on those mountains even in the end of summer.
pretty high elevation.
Beginning at Santeetlah Gap on the North Carolina side (at elevation 2660 feet), the road quickly twists and ascends to Santeetlah, an overlook at the highest elevation of 5390 feet. Along this section you will ride the mountain top for another seven miles to the Tennessee state line.
