Thats assuming that musak marketed for an American audience is the only musak that counts.Dattebayo wrote:I actually thought they died off long ago. It's not like they have done anything in America lately.
Hmm, AOB is finished, Saab is on it's hind legs right now, Volvo sold out to China and Spyker would only be fun to look at and laugh at their F1 failures.Jesda wrote:
My plan was:
Go to Sweden, tour Saab, Spyker, and Volvo, then go see AOB perform.
Ok, mr euro fag, when you don't tour in the us and don't offer any new releases without having to go to a store and buy an expensive import, then you have kinda lost most of the audience.justinmc wrote:Thats assuming that musak marketed for an American audience is the only musak that counts.Dattebayo wrote:I actually thought they died off long ago. You don't give enough credit to how much the European entertainment market counts for. Countless bands have survived solely on just their European sales and did just fine.Dattebayo wrote:Ok, mr euro fag, when you don't tour in the us and don't offer any new releases without having to go to a store and buy an expensive import, then you have kinda lost most of the audience.
Sure, and they tour so much here, ya know? Way to show your support of all the US fans, guys.f1seb wrote:Although this group had many many many more albums before and after the release of the album "Fat of The Land" which is the only album that topped the USA charts. And they're still kicking till this day.

Oh yeah.. I forgot that euro fag part. My bad. So none of the 6 BILLION other people in the world listen to, support or buy music? That would be roughly the other 95% of the people in the world. So if its not marketed to 5% of the population then it doesn't count?Dattebayo wrote:Ok, mr euro fag, when you don't tour in the us and don't offer any new releases without having to go to a store and buy an expensive import, then you have kinda lost most of the audience.justinmc wrote:

One visit does not account for a "tour".f1seb wrote:Actually they do tour here, I went to their last concert in NYC last year in Roseland Ballroom, so we are not forgotten although account for a small share of their fan base.
Marketing is very important if you want prospective fans to know about you. Sorry you don't understand that.justinmc wrote:Oh yeah.. I forgot that euro fag part. My bad. lol I like how you try to play this. I'm supposed to look less like a real music lover because I don't go out of my way to find other country's artist and love their music.justinmc wrote:I listen to some electronica.. but not exclusively. Actually my music collection is pretty diverse.. starting at a band called "A" and ends somewhere south of ZZ Top. So if by euro fag you mean I don't pump Billy Ray Cyrus from the cab of my lifted F150.. then yeah.. I'm a euro fag and I'll take that title.
I didn't say you were any less of a music lover. You just don't agree with marketing strategies of certain bands, groups, artists, labels, etc. I can respect that. It would be like me saying you weren't a real car lover because you (for the sake of this discussion and since we are on a Nissan board) only liked Nissan cars/trucks/etc. Thats simply not true.. your interests are just different than mine and some of the other people on here. I wouldn't call you a japanese car loving fag because of it though.Dattebayo wrote:Marketing is very important if you want prospective fans to know about you. Yeah, music's gotten better.IBCoupe wrote:I didn't realize that people still listened to them. I thought we grew taste.
Then again, there's American Idol, so there goes that notion.
