I just checked out the demo on the marketplace. I can't wait for this game to come out. I have played and owned all of the Ace Combat Games. This latest version kicks so much arse. Agreeded the demo was only the first level yet if felt like the epic final battle of any other AC game, the new ally attack system really make it seem like your not alone too.

I got the game yesterday after work and I am so far very impressed with what im seeing, the battles are very large and give the feel that you are not the only guy doing damage, the graphics are gorgeous, the music as always is epic, and while I haven't done multiplayer yet it looks like more than a tacked on afterthought.

music!?! haha I turned it off first thing, you have to hear the engines! they put a lot of love on recording the different engines at different power levels. Yes the game looks really good, they also made it more realistic in regards to the flight dynamics. You cant do a negative dive as easy, you have to watch it or youll stall-awesome. I will practice "hovering!" I played online last night and I did pretty good. Online is OK menus suck but the gameplay is solid. Now my gametime is divided 60% Acecombat 35% Halo3 5% Dynasty Warriors Gundam. Now thats plan. see you on line people

It could have done with 5 more missions and 10 more planes, I can't understand why they included F-16 and the F-2? lose the F-2 and give us the good ole F-5.

I am surprised that there are no target range stages just like in earlier games...

Where is my F-15 with thrust vectoring and extra canards?

I got sick of games where every second person used the CFA-44 with the rail gun, I prefer games where one side used 1 plane and the other side used a different plane ex: F-15 vs Su-33 that was fun.

I've only seen 1 person use the CFA-44 so far, and he was in the middle of scoring. Mostly it's been F-22's, SU-33/47, and F-15/14's.

there are a lot of free planes up for download in Xbox live

..after putting this game down for months....it is still fun...now if I can just get all my medals....at least I only I have one more plane to collect
