accident question

Long story shot my friend with a cast on his right foot was driving and a car flew through a stop sign and hit the front passenger side of our car. A cop was standing right there and asked who owned the car and my friend said it was his , and then the cop said your not the driver are you (refering to the cast) so i said i was. Anyways the guy in the other car was 80y.o. admitted to running the stop sign and the cop also agreed he was at fault. all the paperwork done , insurance swaped. question is , will this make my insurnace or anything go up? i am not a newb to accident just a newb to actually having them reported and filed with the police.
