You don't have to tell me that brother, I was one of them! his name was Brandon...and he screwed a lot of us on here! Infact I spent over $2k for my lights and still theey were F#@K'd. Both me and surmanm. Infact, I drove up to canada to pick up my lights and surman's which was a 8 hr drive for me and surman met me at my place to pick up his lights which was an 8 hr drive for him as well. So yeah, I know all about being burned...that is why i started dangerislumenations to give the altima community a quality product and not some half a$$ crap. But hey; it is your money, spend it wisely... :yesnod

But I will be introducing a new product for the guys out there on a budget... I'll start a new thread on it soon so be on the lookout!

Haha Dangeris.. Theres no doubt your projectors are much better quality than the ones I have. but we got to have a guinea pig to try these eBay projector out.. And i'm that guinea pig. For those who wonder what the light look like on the road. I wil have some more pictue of the cutoffs/road and also will update the pics once I have the hid installed.

Now I'm wondering wtf is that black Vertical line is.. Anyone got an answer other than eBay projector sucks/ low quality? lol

Looks like the bar of the bulb(electrical lead) is installed on the same side as the cut-off shield.

I wish it wasn't so hard to separate the OEM headlights so that I could just paint them black.. no need for projectors in my case, I just wanna black out the headlights -- too much chrome IMO!

most likely that is the electrical lead (wire that goes to the top of the bulb) as the dark spots correspond on the 2 projectors
solution : turn the bulb 180degrees in the projector

I cant really turn the hid bulb (h7) 180 degrees.. as the ledge is on the same side as the electrical lead. If i turn it 180 degree then the bulb will not fit in the projector socket.

It's pretty common for generic HID kits to have the clips or slots on the wrong side. I would file down the notch and turn it if you have a dark spot in your light pattern.

that is what i will do tomorrow. I also received the Highbeam HID kit H1.. One thing i notice immediately off the bet is the bulbs is a lot bigger than the socket or perhaps the diameter is the exact same size for the two (very tight fit, that will likely scratch the surface of the bulb and the lead piece). During tomorrows hid install i will try to take some picture of the process.

Putting HIDs for highbeams is risky business. Highbeams are meant to be on as SOON as you activate the higbeams. Waiting for the ballast to ignite and warm up takes too long IMO

Yep that is very true . I have always used highbeam to signal others about something (let semi trucks known when to get back into the slow lane or let someone know their lights not on or not working). i rarely use highbeam for daily driving, but once in a while i will have it on during country road driving (off when oncoming traffic). thats probably why I'm looking into installing the highbeam with HID bulb. I rather NOT flick to signal others than have me become the next road kill murderer lol

I made this point in a thread somewhere way months back and everyone told me I was an idiot. My HIDs take anywhere from 8-10 seconds to be full blast, thats way too long.

Looks really nice! I've got oem projectors and I just wish that I could open them up and paint some of the shrouds.

How can you guys say that about these ebay projectors? :tisk: ... Just look at the "cutoff step" The driver's side is about 1' -1 1/2' lower than the passenger side. Dangeris Projectors FTW!!!!

Who would buy JVC speakers if they could easily afford Focal's.

Different product for different budgets. Am I right?

are the headlights not adjustable? oem headlights have the adjustment screw to raise or lower the beams, shouldn't these have one as well so that you can raise the left headlight to match up with the right?

Yes. there is this adjustable thing . I didnt bother with it, thinking what ever it come with it will be the optimal adjustment.

If you could lower down the passenger side (or raise the drivers side), it would be a straight-lined cutoff for sure. Looks good though.

i thought all you had to do is stick a screwdriver down into the headlight adjustment area without needing to remove the headlights.
