89 240 5spd, snapped the tension rod and bent the lower control arm, i got both outta a junkyard 240, i cant get the bolt off the tension rod loose (tried at the junkyard, just cut it off, ita still attached to some of the framing that i cut off, i cannot get the bolt that connects the tension rod to the framing off, which is bad because if its this hard to get off now, its gonna be hard to get off my car, tried a breaker bar, i snapped the connecter going from a 1/2inch socket to 3/8ths so i could use my sockets on the breaker bar, ive tried pb blaster and its just not coming loose.... i got the control arm off no prob, im just having trouble with the tension bar.... i have no idea's left.... plz help.

would soaking it in a mixture of pb blaster, and soapy water help?

more pb blaster and breaker bar action. if that does not work you can take it to a shop and ask some techs to use an air impact gun on it(slip them a little tip). if its a good shop with high air pressure in their lines they should get it no problem.
