First accident a big rig ran me off the road on the highway going from Vegas to CA and then bailed off the highway and hid so i couldnt find him. Damage occured on the front bumper and hood (hit a construction zone pylon.

Now today, at a stop sign, big rig just runs into me. Hit my head on the steering wheel. I get out of the car and nearly drag him out of the cab of his rig to kick his ***. Rear bumper heavily damaged as well as right taillight.

He was cited for being at fault so no points or insurance increase.

Now....my biggest worry....when i get this fixed.....will they report to CarFax and the resale value of the car is screwed???/

wish i could at this point....im FURIOUS!!

My biggest concern is loss of trade in value with a carfax report saying was in an accident. I am thinking of getting a lawyer and potentially trying to recoup those back end losses that i will incur

Don't feel bad man, before I bought my altima I was smashed 2 times in a three month period both times over 3,000 in damage. I got lawsuits pending on both and I decided right after the second accident the damn truck was cursed so I traded it for my altima!!

I wound up getting a 5 year replacement policy on mine but smaller accidents like this are what I dread. I got rear-ended once in my old car then had a moron run a red light and clip the front of the car a year later (both accidents were no-fault for me so I never had to pay a dime). Luckily neither of the accidents were over 2k in damages so I never had to declare them but one came within about $80 of that limit
