accessory outlet issue

I plug my radar detector into the outlet on the dash of my 07 350Z but the plug for the radar detector is loose in the outlet. I'm able to easily turn the charger plug and the detector turns on and off while driving because of the loose connection. I've had the car in for a warranty issue Monday and had them check the outlet and they said the outlet on the dash and near the console were both functioning properly. Is there anyway to obtain a tighter fit with the plug? Thanks for the help.
