So I'm almost ready to get my 90 NA back on the road.

After fixing 2 pinched injector o-rings and some other issues, I think I'm almost there. However, my accessory fan (the electric one behind the MAF) is constantly running. It turns on and runs as soon as I start the car and stays running. The whole cooling system is basically new (radiator, thermostat, WP, etc.) and the A/C isn't on.

Any idea why it would keep running like this?

i just had the same fan issue, here is what i did and it got fixed.

removed the harness,
removed the little 2 pins from the harness itself
sanded them , cleaned them and pushed them back into the harness and made sure they wont move, as i applied a drop of silicone at the ends.
rubbed some contact grease
and plugged it back in, and there it was .

if this doesn't work, it might be the sensor itself, they have built in ceramic heat sensors which go bad over the years and looses its connection ability.

good luck

ps if all else fails, check the big blue fan relay under the hood.

Normally, when you have your electric fan running continuously, the CTS is bad saying the engine is always too hot, which tells the ECU to turn the fan on. Check the ECU for any codes.

Nailed it lol when I checked the ECU I had code 13 for the CTS (and codes 34 and 42). Ordered an OEM one off ebay. Thanks for the info nissanfreak. I'm going to clean the connectors on the fan also like ACK said since I still have the nose panel off anyway.
