accelerator/pedal sensor compatibility

So I am trying to correct an issue that keeps throwing code P0463, now I am not going to get into the problem, that has already been done here and I used those past posts to get to the location I am at now which is replacing the Accelerator Pedal Sensor. The problem is I have a 2005 Pathfinder LE, and I can only find parts for XE and SE w/o off road package, and SE with off road package. Now as far as I can tell the only difference between the two for the SE is one has the pedal adjustment and the other is for fixed location pedal. My question is with a $100+ difference is in price and the fact my pedal adjustment stuff currently works, can I just order the cheaper one for the SE w/o off road and just change that part out, or do I really need to buy the entire more expensive unit. According to Alldata,p0463 is a fuel level sending unit problem code.Nissan had a TSB on this problem also. TSB #NTB07-069D.
