acceleration sticks what do I do?

my acceleration sticks, the pedal is not stuck it goes in and out. what should I do in this situation?

dont' know let's say I accel fast and when I shift it's still reving so i brake and it's stills reving and after a moment or so it will stop accelerating

Try cleaning your throttle body, and take a look at your throttle cable, see if anything looks out of the norm.

shifting: clutch in, foot off the gas, It is still raising the rpms?

Okay when i look at the throttle cable it sticks then releases after a moment when I had my friend reved it to the floor. How do I go cleaning the cables?

Don't try to clean the cable. Replace it. Usualy when they stick it is because the cable is frayed internaly and it is rubbing on the outer jacket. If that is the case, no amount of cleaning is going to fix it.

Time for a junkyard trip. Replace the cable, clean the throttle body and lube the return springs and you should be good to go.

Okay I'm going to replace the cable, more than likely that could be the problem thanks everyone for the help!!!
