Post

HI,

First of all sorry for my bad english.

I have a NIssan versa SL CVT 2009 57000KM.

Well for some time now i have a intermittent acceleration problem from a stop to start. (Red light, stop etc). Sometime it accelerate realyl fast (enought to make the wheel spin) and sometime it is slow as hell. This happen from 500RPM to 3100RPM. That problem started at 25000 KM, I told many time this problem to the dealer, but he told me that it was normal, but i dont believe him... Now that the weather outside is cooler, the acceleration seem to be better, but was catastrophic during summer (25 degree C and +).

Also during the last week of summer (25 degree Celsius(=) the car was having problem starting... I had to wait about 5 second before recrank it for the car to start correctly. But now i have no problem at all to start the car (temperature here now is less than 17 degree C)

and for some weeks now, there is a noise coming from the engine while full acceleration. Seem to come from the top of the engine. Also sometime it smell gas and oil in the car while full acceleration. This happen on higway also, and when the engine is cold or hot.

Any clues ? Thanks

if the car is still under warranty take it to another dealership for a second opinion.
