I am having Nissan versa 2008 with 146,000/- miles on it. it suddenly stopped in front of my home . Car is starting normally and when I try to place gear in Drive mode and accelerate it was not moving with even I accelerate at max level it was slowing down.. And when I switch it off and started it back and placed in Parking mode the car is acceleration is good some times.. I did it couple of times but car is not accelerating . can some one help me on this problem.

Will this be an Fuel injection problem? or the spark plugs ? or the transmission

Make sure the switch on the brake pedal is not malfunctioning and giving a false signal that the brake is on

Is it a CVT transmission? If so, you might search "limp mode" for another suggestion. But if so, it would move, just not much. If it's not moving at all, then it sounds like something else...

Check the engine code and see the problems. All sensors are control by computer no more saturday mechanic.
