I read through this entire post zerothread?id=72030 and it jus validated what I already knew; acceleration will be slower than the stock gearing in my open diff s13.

my question is for anyone who has swapped in the j30 vlsd.... just how MUCH acceleration did you lose? is it noticeably different? thanks!

I have a J30 VLSD installed in my 95 and i can say that i lost a tad of acceleration but not that much to kill me.
