Ok, about a month ago I began experiencing these issues when accelerating from a full stop...

1). Brake indicator goes on but shuts off shortly after
2). VDC & Slip Light come on and don't go off until I restart

I have an '09 G37x with about 46k on it... My first guess was that my brakes are getting low and perhaps this is how the car is telling me... Does anyone know for sure?

It still beats the constant limp mode that I used to experience in my old 335i after accelerating. :)

Yes you guessed it right. Infiniti made it smart and easy to detect your brake wear. Safe to say you will need a brake job done soon. Your pads are worn and using more brake fluids. If you want to get rid of the alarm fill the reservoir for the brake fluid but that is temporary. You will need pads and possible rotors soon.

Oh and welcome to Nico. Yeah those fuel pump limps are no fun. Heard they finally after 4 years found the cure for it. N54 engine is great just the fuel pump/ injector made the platform reliability drop to unacceptable to many people's standard.
