I can only accelerate if I (feather) the gas... I have a 1992 Pathfinder with fuel injection and not sure vin id right now. I have checked for exhaust and oxygen restrictions (none) Checked timing and spark... no difference... starting to wonder about faulty sensors and the like... is this something usuall I have 140000 mi... and saw some people have the same symtoms.I just remember how I used to tow 28' trailers and up hill... now I cant even drive my truck up a hill... It does seem to work beter if I shift into 4x4 mode? maybe my imagination ... but what ever it is it needs to go bye bye

try spraying carb cleaner into a vac hose while accelerating. if that helps you are lean. did you unplug the tps when you checked the timing?
