Accel Spark Plug Wires

Is there anything I need to do to them, before I install them. Also it came with 5 wires, and one doesn't look the same, what is it for?ThanksJosh

THe 5th wire is for connecting it to the coil I believe. They should of gave you some grease to coat on the inside of the plugs also just don't lose your position to which valve goes to which plug.

I don't know what the 5th one is for because there is no where for it to go. How exactly does that grease go on, I don't know where to put it. I got them all hooked up right I just didn't put any grease on.Josh

The grease (the ones Accel gave you) goes into the boot which goes onto the sparkplug into your block. Just get a screwdriver and place some in there. It helps keep out moisture and all that harmful stuff. Thats weird...I Know on the S13's the 5th wire usually goes into the coil. Let me take a picture. I'll post it up in 5 min.

WHEN I BOUGHT MY WIRES.. IT CAME WIT 6WIRES..4 FOR THE PLUGS AND 1 FOR THE COIL.. BUT THE LAST ONE I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT ITS FOR.. JOE
