Ok so I wired everything, no problems. I think is a previous problem the car had but I dont know. The ACC power stays off till you turn the key to ACC then the only way to get it to go off is to disconnect the battery. I really dont know what it is, but it seems logical that its a relay somewhere, but I really dont know. Plz help guys.

I had the exact saem problem, I ended up putting a switch under the dash that I cycled whenever I shut the car down. I spent about 12 hours tracing the problem and finally gave up.

I had kinda the same problem with my car after I did the 8 step wiring. The brake light and seat belt light would stay on after I turned the key off. Once I took the battery post off it would go away till I turned the key on/off again. After I wired in the R33 cluster the problem hasn't showed up yet. Maybe it's a built in turbo timer. lol

I had the problem AFTER I wired the cluster too. I am unsure what it is but like I said, wire a rocker switch so you dont have to go under the hood after every trip. That was the easy way to fix it.

Joel, you got your on the road yet?

The main power wire for the computer (key on) is wired to a hot all the time wire.....

So what you are saying is it needs to be changed to a ignition power wire? Mack you rock, thanks for all your help.

Yes the KEY ON curcuit shoud get its power from the KEY switch wire (black/red usually) not the 12v all the time wire(red)....Check how the ING relay is wired....

I pulled the ign relay and the eccs relay and the lights on the dash stayed on, the lights that stay on are brake(even if its down) and the 3rd one over(not at my car so I dont remember what it was). I let it sit for 2 nights and it drained the battery.

no I didnt, I did the 8 step crap, and I tried unplugging all of that because some of it runs into the fuse box that also has the power for the car like dash and stuff, but it still stays on. I used a test light to check the ignition switch and it functions as it should, and I am assuming the white with red on the ignition switch is supposed to have all time power. It seems like the power wires that connect to the battery from the fuse box need to be on ACC power instead of constant power.

Yeah I was to anxious to get it in and running so I took the easy way out and I am paying for it, I am going to probably redo the wiring myself but if you have any input that could lead me in the right direction I would sure appreciate it mack.
