Recently my accessory power (dash lights, stereo, cig lighter, auto seatbelts) would remain on after removing the key. At times if I would depress the brake pedal (and the current draw from the lamps would trip the relay?) it would shut off but now I have to disconnect my negative battery cable to shut it off. I have replaced both the ECC and Acc relays under the hood and still remaining on. Could it be the ignition switch, everything shuts off after I disconnect the neg cable and stays off when I re-attact it. I have disconnected my Mobile ES headunit, the Mobile ES dsp/eq unit, and all the amps, completely.

The engine is out of the car now (waiting for the KADE oil pump cover to cone off backorder before I can stuff it back in) and I connected a new Optima redtop (that I stuck on my bikes Battery Tender for a week) that was fully charged so I know its not lack of voltage.

Any ideas? Thanks way in advance! Marc1991 S13 w/KA24DE(T)

in theory, it could be ignition switch. wouldnt hurt to look at switch. there is one small screw holding it on. you will find the switch on oppostie side of steering column from cylinder lock(place that receives key).

there are two acc relays. both blue. relay-1 is by the fuse box in the drivers kick panel. relay-2 is under the air filter. called acc.
