Yeah, but do the "earth friendly" way by taking your car to an ac shop, and they'll suck the r12 out in a closed system......and for free usually because r12 is so expensive, and they can turn around and re-sell it.But yeah, the 134a conversion kits work well in a r12 system......doesn't get quite as cold as the r12.....mainly because the system is designed for r12 system........but mine blows a nice 35-38 degrees.....which is plenty cold for me....if I can ever resolve my belt issue
