Can the AC compressor from a 1990 240sx work for the 1992 240sx KA24DE model?

Sorry I wasnt technical enough. I have a 1992 240sx hatchback with a KA24DE engine and was wandering if the AC compressor from a KA24E engine will work with it? Summer is nearing and i cant stand the heat. lol

They have a different mounting bolt pattern and probably won't work out very well. I have not interchanged them myself, but this is to the best of my recollection. Somebody let me know if I'm off track here.

They won't work. Different belt sizes, different mounting bracket configurations.
