Not really asking for advice, just sharing my experiences over the last week.

-Replaced Compressor-Replaced Compressor Mounting Bracket-Replaced Belt & Pulley Assembly-Evacuated and recharged with 10oz ester and 2.3-2.5 12oz cans of Freeze 12.-Compressor engages with no apparent peculiar noises.-Climate control set to 65 Auto, manually set to highest fan speed.

Still blows luke warm. I suspect the compressor seizure two months ago has ruined the system, and it will need a flush and new receiver.

One gripe is that Scottsdale sent an AC belt for a 94+ Q which resulted in a damaged pulley bracket, which required a trip to the junkyard, alternator removal, compressor removal, and removal of three belts and two pulleys to replace it.

When I went to install the incorrect belt, what apparently happened is that because the 94 belt is longer, a higher location on the tension screw was required to create tension on the pulley. This ended up bending and warping the tension screw. Eventually there was a pop and pieces of the bracket were on the driveway.

Scottsdale is refunding me for the belt as soon as I send it back.

The last week of my vacation was spending looking at the underside of my Q.

My bet is youll ned to replace the drier, why didnt you replace it before you put the new compressor in, you are possibly doing damage to that....

Doesnt seem to be necessary on other cars, even those with compressor failure. I've been driving around an ice cold Chrysler LHS that received a used compressor two years and 35,000 miles ago after the first one seized, still original receiver.

Ahh, but the Q is in a world of its own. Everything must be done all at once and at full price.

Any used or open system requires replacement of the drier if longevity or performance is a concern.

I feel for your problem Jes. Did you ever get you AC system working again? My question is, did you replace the clutch and pulley yourself? If yes, where did you get the clutch removal tool from. I'm having a hard time tracking one down. My compressor pulley's bearings went out on me. And I wanna R&R myself. Any help, would help.
