AC replacement

What's going on people I want to see if I could save some dough-right, would it be possible to use a 2003 QX4 ac compressor in a 2000 year model. Seeing as there the same chassis and the parent company like to use lots of interchange parts. Advise please before i buy online. Thanks!

the chassis is the same but the motors are completely different.

highly unlikely that they use the same AC compressor.

they are indeed different compressors. why do you need a new compressor? sure you dont just need a clutch or bearing?

Thanks you for the responses, cant interchange at all well that's a dud. I was about order a used one, seems that's a not gonna happen. The problem is the wrrrrrrnggggg noise like a hair dryer that it makes and it increases as you accelerate. Still its my relatives truck but he's is not too much into car knowledge just likes to drive, he had it look at at they said to replace it.
