Currently looking at a 92 hatch near me and i want to reinstall the a/c system. Owner said the system was removed but i can get the parts, excluding a compressor, for $50. He says I can install all this, put a compressor on and slip on the belt, get it charged and i will have working ac, will it really be that plug and play? Does this sound like a good deal?

Can i get a list of parts in the ac system that people remove so i can start sourcing them?

Also, is there some underlying reason why everyone removes their ac?

For those flaming me for reinstalling ac, i'm just gonna say, Florida summers are hot.

Motor is a dohc ka

print out an exploded view of the ac system from the fsm. start sourting parts.

go to a parts store and get a ac o-ring kit. replace all the o-rings(like 2 bucks)

then youll have to buy new lines from nissan for r-134< or what i did, buy a retrofit kit( any ac shop should be able to install this for you.

get it charged. seriously, i did all this in my old apartment complex parking lot(tho, i own all the tools?machine to do it)its pretty plug and play
