2013 infiniti m37 I had to replace my radiator housing which made me unplug my AC pipes and freeon vented out with this green slime. I finished the housing replacement and I reattached the pipes and refilled it with freeon but now AC only blows hot air why?

The green is UV dye mixed with PAG oil, not slime. Assuming you used the right refrigerant, how much did you refill? Both under- and over-filling will cause the ECM to not run the compressor.

Hi VStar650CL

I figured it out I just needed a good nights rest. It was a couple of things I'll list below:

1. On my manifold I had the low pressure side (Blue) opened up and the high pressure side (Red) closed as it should be. Also the low pressure side (Blue) coupling that attaches to the low side Schraider valve was opened however the high pressure side (Red) coupling that connects to its Schraider valve I thought needed to be closed and it was supposed to be opened. The only valve that needed to be closed was the high pressure side (Red) located on the manifold and the rest left wide open. So I added the green dye and 1st can of refrigerant R134A and it was almost empty but stopped accepting more refrigerant. I looked and noticed the clutch/compressor did not engage so not enough pressure to allow for more refrigerant. So I stopped and left everything still connected. I checked my fuses, relays, sensors, connectors and all was good. I didn't want to jump or bypass other electrical sensors/connectors to force the clutch/compressor to activate.

2. I realized I needed to run the Auto Active Test since this internal diagnostic test would cycle 3X both low and high settings thru a handful of operations (wipers, all external lighting, cooling fans) & the compressor clutch. I let it rip and the clutch was energized and moved as it should signaling to me that the test reset these operations.

I continued where I left off at and BOOM the compressor/clutch engaged finishing off the 1st can. Then I added the 2nd can for a total of 1.21lbs. My initial reading directly from my vents was 85 degrees but now it dropped all the way down to a super cool 48 degrees. Low Pressure side was within expected range as well as the high side on the manifold gauge readings. Just in time for the summer and so glad it all worked out. As for Darwin not even he believed in his own theories. I agree there are a lot of morons out there but even a certified MENSA member like myself can have an off night which is extremely rare for me and thank you.

Glad you got it straightened away. :dblthumb:

The great Arthur Conan Doyle believed in faeries in the garden. Sometimes genius comes with a price. Darwin was just a good scientist looking for scientific confirmation of a theory he knew would be just a theory until proven, but at least he didn't have any obvious loose screws.
