Hey everybody. I have a '90 hatch that I'm about to do an SR swap with. I live in San Antonio, TX and I have been told by somebody that it's too hot here to try and set my car up with A/C because it will cause my car to overheat all of the time. I'm swapping in a KOYO and FAL fans with it. Will it be ok for me to get the A/C up? Or will it cause too many problems? Also, what all do I need to swap over the A/C? Any info would be great. I want to be ready to go when my motor shows up.

you will need custom high pressure and low pressure line to the sr ac compressor...Cut off the connect from the sr compressor and have it professionally welded to your existing lines.

OK cool. It won't cause abnormal overheating though will it? I figured it wouldn't be any different than any other cars as far as overheating goes.

just check the FSM for the required freon pressures on the high and low pressure sides and you will be fine.
