AC problems

i having problems with my ac.. i just did a dohc swap (my sohc crapped out) and im trying to get my ac to work my friend said to put the sohc ac compressor and bracket on after i took all the dohc power steering stuff off.. well i did that and that and the sohc bracket doesnt line up with the crank pulley so i can put on the ac belt... any ideas on how i can fix this or what i can do to get ac i still have the dohc ac compressor and bracket.... thanks
