My I30 ac lines freeze up and accumulate half inch of ice, then melt into evaporator, the drain just can't handle so much water. Then of course water all over interior carpet and ECM!!! I've noticed the compressor doesn't cycle on and off. Any ideas Infiniti techs? Thank you

Sounds like a low refrigerant charge. Also, there is typically a sensor in the evaporator that should turn the compressor off if the evaporator is frozen.

1) Drain should be able to handle the water. Unplug it. 2) Check/replace anti-freeze switch--a thermostat that is supposed to shut off the A/C compressor when the switch senses tmep is too low in th eevaporator.
