AC Fan noise?

Quick question. 1995 J30, 70k miles.

Today on the drive home from work, I noticed the AC fan is making a ticking sound. Sound is coming from front pasenger side. Sounds as if something is lightly brushing against the fan blades since I can speed up/slow down the ticking noise by adjusting fan speed. I hope the dang thing isn't about to die on me.

Any suggestions?

You don't know how close you were. A piece of tape was the culprit. Had a time fishing it out of the blower fan but alas, I won.

i bet that tape was from the duct piping somewhere. that might mean there's more to come.
