I did some research but not much. I noticed that they have conversions for DSM's (my brother has one) to make the AC fan an Engine fan. Could I do the same with the 300zx AC fan and mount it up to my NA radiator? I'll wire it up to always be on when the engine is started.

If you have a really good radiator on an N/A it might work but the A/C fan is designed strictly as a supplemental air supply, it is not designed to continuously flow huge ammounts of air. I would not reccomend it, but if you try it let me know how it works. A cheap electric fan for the z is a 90s Maxima radiator and dual fan setup which you could probably find in a junk yard!

haha thanks that sounds more promising. I was going to try it and see if it could maintain normal operating temperature but I dont want to get stuck when the fan breaks somewhere. Ill start looking for a 1990 maxima radiator fan. Does it bolt up?

i dont see this working, although i do not know the specific specs, i can almost guarantee that the stock electric AC fan cannot flow the same amount of air as the factory belt driven fan can through the Rad.

Yeah, I took my Coolant Temp Sensor out to relocate my PTU and i noticed, when the ECu doesn't read a temp, the AC fan is ALWAYS on. So i figured, what happens when I have the AC fan always on and then another AC fan on the other side. but I guess not. I'm just going to get the Maxima fans
