My ac runs low on refrigerant in 3 weeks. I added enough to get the high side up to about 225 when it was 95 degrees. I placed my "sniffer" in the main vent and it went it started beeping. I did this a couple of times with the same results. I did this as I could not find a leak anywhere else. I am assuming an evap leak. Thoughts? Also to access the expansion valve, is it necessary to remove the intake manifold? I can't see an easy way to remove the expansion valve.

Thanks,

Joey

Hi and welcome to NICO Club! I mostly use a shop for charging AC systems. They are great for finding leaks as well. Do you do it yourself? Why do you assume your evaporator leaks? Well, we do have the FSM here and maybe that's all you'll need to fix your AC. Here's a link to that stuff, look to the MTC chapter: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Versa/2010/
