AC condenser fan. It does not run continuously but only when it has to.

Can you guys please take the time to read through the service manual?

The fan comes on/stays on with the IGNinition switch "ON" or "Start" position. And that's only if the pressure in the Air Condition system exceeds a specified value. Or if the temperature of the engine as reported by the thermal transmitter reaches a specified temperature. The ECU will ground one or both relays till the sensor reports a lower temperature to the ECU.

So as I said before you may have a 1990-1993 Q45 ECU, A NICO ECU (modified 1990-1993 Q45 ECU) or a defective thermal transmitter circuit.

You can rule out the relays by using a real Nissan Consult 2 or OBD Scan Tech Nissan (With the proper cable of course).

In my case I would believe relay. I have replaced the thermal transmitters (temp sensors) and stock no altered ecu. So apprently need to check the relays. Thank you good sir
