AC controls qustions..I already did a search..nothing came up..

I have a 90 300zx and the AC controls only has High and Low on the fan speed. But the 91-96 have the AC controls with the adjustable fan speeds. If I get one of these controls and replace mine..will it work? Will I be able to adjust the fan speed ? Or would I have to replace something else? I just think having High and Low sucks...I like having other options. Let me know. Thanks guys.
