Yes!

Well we finally manage to turn on the a/c compressor. The blue/red wire from the RB a/c compressor goes to the blue/green wire from the s13 wiring harness. We opened the a/c relay and pushed it together so it turns on.

We have yet to figure out what the other wires green and black/red wires do.

All we have to do is hook up the wire to the ECU telling it when to turn on the relay. Anyone know what wire this is?

So my a/c compressor is good its not seized up. I now have to get the custom line made. Some guy here in town will make it for us.

So A/C IS possible with RB....im glad cuz we have really hot/humid summers here in Oklahoma.

Tony

Cool, but I thought the rb20 ecu didn't work right with a/c? Maybe you have the 25?

See, now all thats left is

A)Getting cutoms lines madeB)Buying a new a accumulator/drierC)Wire in the high and low temp sensor s to the ECU and hope that the KA give the same signal the RB ECU is looking forD)Charge the system and go for a ride.

It isnt that hard, in theory....

that sound good tony, almost there. i'm putting in a rb20 in the s13 in the coming week, i'll probably play around with the ac system also.

btw! is that ac compressor off the rb20 or ka? i think we would have more luck with the rb20 compressor, do you think so?

The only problem is if you are using any kind of underbrace (i.e. Tanabe, Cusco, or Nismo power brace) the compressor will hit.

At least this was my experience on RB25 in s14 using Mckinney mounts.

I just took all my a/c stuff out and will keep it until I decide I really need it and when there is a good/safe way to run it.
