ac compressor bolts

For some reason, the three outside ac compressor clutch bolts have backed completely out, and i have lost them... I called the dealership, and they knew less than i did!

To explain just which ones they are, i have to explain their location...

on the clutch (pulley) end of the compressor, there are four bolts that hold the clutch to the compressor. The center one is the longest and strongest of the four that are there. There are three other bolts that are arranged around the center one in a triangular pattern... does that help?

I need all the help i can get, as i dont know what else to do.

so you are saying there are 3 holes around the center bolt that is still there and you think there was suppose to be bolts in those holes?

thats exactly what i am saying... if i can get pictures of it, i will. Is there just the one bolt?

yes there are no bolts around the mid portion of the clutch those are likely the spring holes for the clutch. I dont think there is anything wrong with your compressor clutch.

thanks for letting me know... The clutch is shot, so i am gonna be in the hunt for a new compressor... anyone have one for sale?
