ac clutch

my ac clutch does not engage on my 1990 240sx. the switch works, and the relay clicks. just the clutch dont engage. any idea's?

it sounds like your field coil is not working . have you tried unpluging the conector on the compressor and turn the switch on to make sure power is getting to the field?
