Back again,

2012 M35H with a history - car now does this:

All units are celsius FYI

Climate Unit set too:

18 Degrees no Recirculation - Moderately cool air that gets colder as i drive. Not ice cold though. I wonder if 18 is the lowest the climate dials go too. Most other cars it’s 16 degrees

19 degrees - hot air immediately - no change in temperature up until 32 degrees

18 degrees w/recirculation - Cool air that gets ice cold as i drive.

Sometimes when parked the AC shuts itself off 20% of the time. Non cooled air begins to blow until car is turned off
and on.

Passenger Side Far Right vent only has cool air never cold air.

Heat is scorching hot - feels like at 19 the car is set too 32 degrees.

Thoughts/Opinions?

On the non-hybrids, there is a sensor in the knee panel under the steering wheel on the right side next to the center console that if unplugged will exhibit this kind of behavior. It has a clear tube going to it. I'd start there (although I don't know if it applies to hybrids). I had this issue on my car when I was working on the BCM one time.

Hi Ilya,

Thanks for your response.

Please see attached image:

Can you confirm these two items please:

1) Is this the cable in question? It appears to be secured unless I am mistaken but the clear tubing you mentioned is there. Not sure what I am looking for or how to check for secure connection

2) Is the lowest your climate controls go to 18 degrees celsius?

Thanks
