93 Alty GXE For almost 2 years now I have had no AC. One day I was driving and the AC was working. I turned off the car, bought some fish for my friend's turtle and then about 10 min later got back on the road, tried to turn on the AC... nothing. The system has been recharged, the pressure is normal, I press the blue AC button and the compressor does not come on. I checked the relay, the fuses, the wires to the compressor, and even took out the relay and used a little wire to jump the clutch to turn on. The clutch will kick in then... but no cold air. I think I have listed everything... I have no clue what it is... I am sick of hot air... Somebody has to have some idea!

If the compressor came on but no cold air that means you lost your freon again, you need to find and repair the leak. Die and a black light is the best way to find this leak.

Then you need to check your pressure switch, should register in volts , low range around 1 volt, if the voltage off it is around 3 volts the compressor wont come on. General rule of thumb is each volt represents 100psi of pressure in the high side. To prevent blow off the pressure switch will shut the system down ,ball park, around 300 psi or 3 volts.
