Recharge the AC system, and check for leaks.

your possibly low on R134a fluid (freon) in the system
do you hear your A/C kick on?

you have to buy this can with the gauge:

turn the car on, turn the a/c on to full-high. install the plug from the bottle hose and attach it to the L (low) pipe.

start pushing the bottle button and dispensing the R134a coolant until you reach the BLUE zone on the gauge.

see what happens.
(if it still doesnt, then you need to figure out if your clutch is getting the proper electrical signal)

try that and let me know how you make out. this could also be a bad button on the control panel in your dash, it could be a few other things as well, but we will get there. usually low pressure will signal for the AC clutch to stop kicking on so it doesnt self destruct and that will cause you to loose cool air in the heat.

It happens mostly due to leaks or less quantity of freon.
