Hey everyone. Just wanted to ask a question concerning the ac belt. I do not have ac on my car but the compressor is still on. The ac belt was left in place. My question is that since it isnt doing anything, is it safe for the rest of my engine to just take off the belt and leave the compressor? I plan on keeping the compressor, I dont know why, but I am. Thanks in advance.

Bump. because all i want to know is if removing the ac belt will cause issues with the driveshaft pulley, like something that would require a damper. i have all stock pullies.

Nope, it won't cause any issues.Just cut the belt, then if you feel like it later remove all the AC components.

you shouldn't have any problem. just cut the belt, its easier way to remove it.
