so it's quite annoying, my ac belt slips every time i turn on the ac, is not constant, but it goes off for a 5 minutes and then starts making noises again and then goes off and then noises again, so i was thinking it may need some tightening, how hard is it to do? i was looking thru the FSM and i did not see anything on that point, or i am just a bad reader?

if someone could please help me and point me into the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

You may find this handy (belt-adjustment-t365646.html) just read the whole thing, it tells you were all the adjustment points are for all your belts.

Are you sure its the belt and not the compressor clutch?

I don't know, to my untrained ear just sounds like a belt slipping, how could I know if it was the compressor clutch ?

Is it squealing? Doesn't take long to tighten, just read the post mentioned above

Tighten it up, if it doesn't go away after that then it's something else like a bearing. Some people say to put this thing called "belt dressing" on it but I've never had to use that stuff to keep belts from squealing.

No, just put it up on jack stands and get underneath it. jack stand points

The tensioner pulley is there on the driver's side.
