Hello - for a few days now my Nissan Versa's AC/Heater has been making a fluddering noise anytime I turn it on. It still works fine but the sound makes me think something is wrong.

I ran over a piece of a tumbleweed in the road last week, maybe that is it? Should I spend the $104 to have a shop check it out, or take it to the Nissan Service shop (much slower and more inaccurate) and let them check but no charge until I have them fix it?
