I successfully replaced my burnt out climate control bulbs. It's not that difficult but it takes patience. First remove vents and upper dash piece. Then remove the trim around the shifter knob. There are 4 screws holding in the radio/climate control unit. 2 behind the vents and 2 under the ash tray. Remove those and carefully unplug all wires behind the unit. Then pull the whole assembly out as one. Radio/climate control. Take unit to a work bench and remove the black plastic cover on the back side of the climate control. It's a very tight fit so wiggle it out gently to expose the circuit board behind the climate control display. You will see three small twist lock bulb sockets going through the circuit board. Replace the bulbs and re assemble the back cover and re install the radio/climate unit into dash. The bulbs are the same as the clock bulbs. I suggest autolumination.com for those replacement bulbs.
