It's definitely time for a new suspsension package, so I figured maybe I should go for the AC Lift while I'm at it. BUT I do have a few questions before I make that decision.

1. Is it worth the cost? (Ride quality? Noticeable? Pros/Cons?)

2. Do you recommend that all components be purchased as a package or seperately?

3. What is the ride like once the lift is on?

4. I've heard some people who have the lift reporting about a 3" lift? How are you pulling this off?

5. What size tires are you looking at running once the lift is on?

Thanks in advance for your help.

There's also Old Man Emu (OME) that's a 1.75" lift. I hear they're better but don't take my word for it. You can get more than 2" lift by putting spacers in.

Nothing i've heard of. I know shwitt (sp?) on this forum has possibly found something overseas but other than that no word...

I'm pretty sure i've heard from people who have the OME lift that they would've rather put on the AC lift after all was said and done. And as far as the spacers go, I have seen people report a 3" lift without. But how difficult of an install would those be, along with how would that affect ride quality?

Thanks for the replies

i am running the OME lift. pretty happy with it, the ride is GREAT. yeah the extra height would be nice but i also value my front axles (i dont have manual hubs)

Could you elaborate on axles and manual hubs and why the 2" lift would affect these?

I've got the OME lift also and I love it. The ride is stiffer which makes driving fun again. Cornering is so much better and you don't feel as sluggish off the line. I think the only downside is now I drive faster so my MPG has gone down and my chances of getting a ticket have gone up.

Interesting...

Have you ever compared your ride to one with the AC lift on it?

What cons are associated with the 2" lift as compared to the 1.75"?

Thanks for all the help, I like where this is going.
