Absence of Radio mute button for 2015 Qashqai

Have great sympathy with Canadian owners who registered disappointment over the absence of a mute button on the otherwise impressive DAB radio in new Qashqai Tekna.

Equally unimpressed over advice that I would have to pay £180 for a European SD card upgrade for Tekna pre-installed SATNAV. The TomTom I had in my Renault Scenic allowed SD download for £40 - a far more acceptable and realistic price.
It would be cheaper to buy a standalone Tom Tom.

Irritations in an otherwise likeable car.

That's an obscene amount of money for the SD card upgrade. I'm just curious as to how the functionality/accuracy of that system is compared to your TomTom.
